Hannes Niederhauser

Hannes Niederhauser | CEO

Hannes Niederhauser started his Kontron (prev. S&T) engagement in 2011. Following his studies in Electrical Engineering at the Graz University of Technology, the Austrian-born manager progressed in the fields of microchips and embedded computing. Before joining S&T, Niederhauser has been the main shareholder and CEO of the previous Kontron AG from 1999 to 2007, which became the world’s largest provider in the field of embedded computing. Hannes Niederhauser is consistently driving Kontrons transformation from an IT service provider to a leading provider of IoT solutions.



Clemens Billek


Clemens Billek | CCO,CFO

As a proven expert, Clemens Billek is responsible for the topics law, compliance, internal audit, risk management and corporate governance on the Kontron Executive Board. After starting his career at the stock exchange supervisory authority in the Austrian Takeover Commission and as an investment banker at an international investment bank, Clemens Billek most recently also worked as head of the office for the Takeover Commission. He has extensive professional experience in the fields of compliance, legal and IR at listed companies and in the field of digitalization respectively as the founder of a telemedicine platform.


Michael Riegert

Michael Riegert  | COO IoT Europe

Michael Riegert has worked in the embedded industry – as an engineer and manager – for more than 25 years. With one exception, Michael Riegert has spent his career at Kontron and S&T, where he has held a variety of management positions. Following his appointment to Penta/ADLINK management at the end of 2015, he became Executive Vice President for the APAC and Americas regions within the S&T Group in 2017 and Managing Director of Kontron Transportation in 2019. Michael Riegert was appointed to the Management Board of Kontron AG (prev. S&T AG) in December 2021.


Peter Sturz

Peter Sturz | COO, Services EE

Peter Sturz has been with Kontron (prev. S&T) since 2007 and became member of the management board in 2008, before that he managed the Adriatic Region. Sturz began his career at Allgemeine Bausparkasse as a member of the board responsible for Sales, Marketing and IT. Before joining Kontron (prev. S&T) he was as member of the managing board of CSC-Austria with responsibilities for Austria and Central Europe.
